Last Court my Sheriff and friend Stephen Laerenzo of Clan Tremere met Final Death in the performance of his duties to the Court and the Camarilla.
In his time amongst us in Winnipeg Stephen managed to win a place in many of our hearts. I know, for example, that Clan Malkavian grieves nearly as much as I do.
His sacrifice was not in vain. Before he died Stephen killed Syd, the serial killer who has been plaguing our Domain for months. He faced what has been the biggest thorn in our side the way he always faced all of his challenges. Head on.
I will always respect him for that. I will always remember him as a *Courageous* member of my Court.
The chair he occupied in the pursuit of his duties in my Court, the one that sits to my right, against the wall, will remain empty in deference to a man I will miss greatly.
